Ivan spends the next 10 years developing the prototype for the Low Proximity Magnetic Distortion System (LPMDS)

Ivan demonstrates the Low Proximity Magnetic Distortion System (LPMDS) prototype at Oakridge National Laboratory to Philip Heymann

Beck is hired as the vice director of the A-sync Research Institute in San Jose, California

Beck begins work as the head of project KV31

A-sync performs Test #3 of the LPMDS. This fails to open 'The Complex'

A-sync makes improvements and performs 2 more tests on the LPMDS

The Loma Prieta earthquake occurs

Test #6 of the LPMDS and the force of the earthquake cause a power cut in the A-sync facility for 10 minutes

The Threshold opens for the first time

A-sync repairs the room outside The Threshold and develop procedures and protocols for exploring The Complex

A-sync crew members explore the sub-level of The Complex

A-sync analyze the ceiling tiles in the first sub-level room of The Complex

What they find is that each of the ceiling tiles have exactly the same production code, manufacture batch numbers etc, and are infact the exact same tiles, duplicated in every way

Researchers discover the body of Nicolas Bolton

A-sync biomedical team performs an autopsy of Nicolas Bolton

Researchers map out The Complex when Peter Tench is separated from the group and disappears

Researchers are made aware that Peter Tench is missing and withdraw from The Complex

A-sync performs search efforts to try and track down Peter Tench, without success

Cameras with Motion Detectors are set up across subdivision A

CAM 2 detects a strange metallic clanging noise
